Thank you for the info on the turtles. if the ray wont kill the turtle i might try it. right now its suffering from too small a tank with a pike cichlid picking on it :WHOA:

I'm just guessing that it could be a Tiger ray but since it came from Brazil, it shouldn't be a Tiger...

At this point of time while your ray is still unstable, the turtle might nip your ray's disk and causing further stress.

Thanks a lot for the info helped a lot. i will let him sttle for a couple more days, fatten him up two.

I just fed him a bunch more worms and he ate them all with the exception of the last one no amount of coaxing changed his mind.

its a humerosa ray, i have one myself. keep himon the earthworms as long as he's (or she's) eating them. good luck.

He is still alive and doing well in all he ate about 10 earthworms in the last few days i am trying my hardest to find more but in the brazilian heat it isnt very fun.

If you can't find the worms try some finely cut up fish pieces or something.
