i hope this ray is doing okay....how is he eating now... i would worry about that more then anything... and posbbly get it in a tank by himself... when you have a picky eater its doesnt help it to have a fish picking at it esp during feeding time... id get some ghost shrimp and blackworms and just try and constantly keep them in there...i know you dont want ot hear people to keep telling you to feed him but this is the skinniest ray i have ever seen....

I personally was amazed at how much a tiny ray can consume in one day, I would estimate that they can eat almost their own body weight in worms. They need the energy as they are always on the move. Did you cut the worms in half?

yes i did but then the ray ignored them cuz they werent wriggling

how big is he.... you doing black worms?

I cant get blackworms here, so only earthworms

If you can't find the worms try some finely cut up fish pieces or something.

i doubt he would eat anything not moving lol

It's funny that people don't read where you live.I know Manaus very well.It's not like the states,there are no fish stores at the malls,well maybe one that has goldfish and bettas.Maybe go at night and look for the worms,still hot but,you don't have the sun pounding on you.

Thank you very much!!! i really feel like i am not doing such a great job after all but it will get better!
actually there is one pet store in the mall but it is SUPER expensive, 100 dollars for a two gallon tank with filter thanks a lot. you are a very courageous man making the huge tank and i respect you very much.
