There is a company in the states can't remember the name now that uses pvc to line the inside of there plywood tanks. Easy to use, easy to weld, can be thinner due to the plywood shell and acrylic can bond to it with a glue making a window easy.
There is also an article in the diy section with a product called zavlar that will also stick to acrylic and itself. Great for lining.

Abs plastic or something similar, fiberglassed at the edges. Works like a charm. :)

you mean FRP boards? then you gotta also silicone all seams and seal off the top with fiber glass.... no im still thinking somehting more simple...

i bet your thinking of wood thats a bit thicker?
