lol haven't had pups in there yet but had to go for swim the other day to re-arrange some driftwood and add some air diffusers and ended up swimming around for just under an hour. Should be expecting some pups shortly in there.

Just don't pull a steve irwin on us. It'd be a shame to finally have such an awesome tank and let one of the rays tag you.

I've got to say, I'd probably find any excuse I could to climb in that tank as well. I'd probably never move away from it. Move in the computer desk, add a refrigerator, a recliner to sleep in....

How much zavlar did yo use? I haven't seen that asked, sorry if I missed it though.

It was actually pretty amazing how relaxed the rays became with me after I was in the water for awhile. They seem more at ease with me in there than when I'm outside the tank doing something. They were very curious and would come up to me and loved to be rubbed on the underside. I was way more stressed than them when I first went in and had problems controlling my breathing.

How much zavlar did yo use? I haven't seen that asked, sorry if I missed it though.

I used around 8 gallons. I did 3 coats of zavlar first on the whole tank to get a good seal and then used the rest when I troweled on the tiles. I just found out for another guy that the paint you can get to go over the zavlar, silicone will stick to. Do not attemp to use silicone directly on the zavlar itself.

Thanks man. My dad has his own tile business so I can get the tile and silicone easily. Now I just have to find some zavlar.
