Hey guys. Quick question again. I'm seeing him "flash" his one curled gill in the sand and on rocks. It seems to be really bothering him. Any suggestions? He seems to be miserable and his appetite has went down this past week

No sign of a parasite but it could be a mix of gill flukes and gill curl. I think it's just the curl thats really bothering him. It's almost completely bent forward showing the inside of his mouth. I've only had him for a week and he came shipped like that. He wasn't flashing until yesterday however

Water is good. Current size is 4" would you recommend buying a med like API General cure to rid the fill possible flukes and reduced irritation from the curl? I'm thinking of that but not sure if it will just stress him more

Unless parasite specific or it has an infected wound I personally fine mess a wast of money, can you get a pic?? Of you have a strong power people have said that helps, some API stress coat might help if it is stress related, but the main thing I would do for now is keep the lights dim and lots of pwc
