Only because of the pink on the and the anal fin, but I agree w/ you that it could be a FH. That's more likely.

@CichlidFish, I could be wrong, i got it from an uncles friend and this one is still the biggest of the bunch. Honestly, i dont really mind if it isnt. The JD lol good colors im still surprised he is alive

@Tojo09, Thanks! I have seen flowerhorns and "red texas" at petsmart too, but not as of lately. Im just hoping he doesnt fade to bad. Guy jumped out of the water as i was putting a piece of krill in. He is such a fun fish to feed and watch. As he only seems to chase the dempsey if im in front or near the tank lol

@Water, Thank you, like i said above, i dont really mind what it is as long as it doesnt fade to bad. Ill get some better pics now that he isnt pale from the move.

Ill have to get some pics and a video here soon. maybe it could help with an ID

Hmmm, his colors seem to be poping more now that he is settled in. Also, i dont think my dempsey will be killing this guy lol he is a brute already
