Yes. I don't consider these first generation hybrids FH's.. but a lot of others will argue that they are.. Just think of it as an early attempt at a Kamfa. It it were an early attempt for a Red Texas, there would be some pearling and your fish doesn't have any.

Okay sweet, thanks! He is pretty cool fish, already taking krill from my hand. :D I can def. see the midas/midevil in him.

Got a video of the Cuban that Maximus(new guys name) literally tore in half for those non believers. And yes the fish is alive and well. The video is actually a feeding video so give me a few and i have it up!

Again, mine looked a LOT like yours.

The guy gave me 2 of them crossed a Texas (Cyano) x Blood Parrot. All the babies were different looking, so mine was an attempt at a Red Texas. Yours could be as well. They dont necessarily need to have any pearls because they are hybrids and as with all mixes, the babies will all be different.
This first pic is when I got him

This is the last time I took a pic of him...before he died he completely faded except for the edge of fins (like yours)

Wow, he really did fade. He will be the only one in the tank once dempsey goes so he should live a long happy life. Did you happen to check out that video above?
