Currently it's an unfaded Texas. I hope it fades my male Texas never faded just stayed the same.

Beautiful fish! Out of interest, do red's have a life expectancy of a normal or is it shorted like Flowerhorn? I'm guessing it would be normal as less inbreeding is used

It depends on the environment and care it can have the same expectancy as a normal cichlid minus three to four years

That looks like a regular texas. Red texas are a cross of bp and texas, regular texas fade
