Sorry I’m not following. Stat? Fill what exactly? The aquarium? If it’s going to be a FOWLR setup just use tap water, prime, and mix the salt directly into the tank. If it’s going to be a reef most would recommend doing the same but with RODI water. For myself on initial fill I just used tap as I have good quality low TDS water.

I think that's what I did last time when I had better water. I don't remember it taking this long. I have a little tang and clown wreaking havoc in the patty wagon.

Anyway enough derail. Nice job so far

I had two of those water storage bins that you can get at the farm stores. 2×300g 1 mixed SW and the other rodi. It took a bit in the begining but once those were filled not a big deal. Id use the SW one on my everyother week waterchange then just put salt in the empty one open a valve and dump the rodi one in to it and turn on a pump to mix. Then just had to wait 3 days to fill the rodi one again. Rodi unit was good for 100gpd

Good advice. I recommend switching up the containers or giving them a good cleaning as they start to absorb/release phosphates over time

Gorgeous fish. I got to see a big one in person at the GA aquarium pics don't do them justice.

Found out my filling issue. Theyre sending me another ro membrane.
