New ropefish can't swim upright - rolling

There's nothing wrong with my water, just two stressed out fish that died because they were shipped together in a bag that was too small to turn around in. (bag 8" wide, fish 10") The LFS will guarantee them and get me new ones, I'm going to ask them to ask their supplier to ship in bigger bags and preferably separately.

My other bichirs are fine. They're not stressed and I have a UV sterilizer so they're unlikely to get sick. If they do I'm sure they're completely treatable.
 
I'm having the same issue with one of my rope fish, my wife noticed a dark patch the other day but I don't see it now, it can't stay at the bottom of the tank, it keeps floating back to the top, not sure what to do to correct the issue.
 
On another note.....id did swallow one of the smaller molly's in the tank, could this be a reason why it's so buoyant?
