New Shark Pool

which rays were you looking at? Ive had/have two from that page.
 
Well, he actually called it a banjo shark - but it was a fiddler ray.
 
yea theres a lot of backwards stuff on that site. Just on the eels page, the kidako eel just looks like a big chain link eel, but for 900 bucks. The leopard eel looks like a dragon eel, but for 50 bucks. And their picture of a snowflake eel is a dead snowflake eel!
And i think i saw my favorite, the great "BANDED CATSHARK".
Correct me if im wrong at all.

Anyway, pictures of the pool in a little while.

TELL ME WHAT TO PUT IN IT! Im not good at making decisions.
 
Then I'd stay away from smooth hounds or the other requiem sharks. Some cool rays and port jacksons would be cool - I've seen them online from a couple of good dealers for $400.
 
haha just remember its not permanent. A few months and this pool will be the growout pool. I think im gonna get the smoothies. No offense jabba, but my mind is made up i think, unless something brilliant comes up. Maybe a nurse pup
 
hehe - no prob - I like my smoothhound too. Just be VERY aware - they JUMP!! So be sure to put a lid on there - I was told by some folk at the Monterey Bay Aquarium that they can jump 2x body length.
 
yea. you mightremember i had a gray smoothie that jumped on me already a few weeks ago. im planning on a retractable net over it when im not present
