New Shark Pool

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What woould be "larger"? Do I have to worry with smoothhound and rays? Another 400 bucks for a pump wasn't planned for but if I have to I will. I just need opinions and good info.

I think by larger Matt's talking about hammerheads, bulls, great whites, tigers, etc - which makes sense. The larger the animal, the larger it's own EM field (this is true for pretty much anything). The larger the field, the more likely it is to encounter interference. Therefore, bigger shark = more susceptible to stray voltage.

By larger, it could be as you said or hatchling to adult. Adult being "larger"

Ok thanks matt and jabba. I'll test it out keeping a close eye on the smoothhounds and if there's any distress the pump will be replaced. I'll give
The grounding probe a shot.

skimmer has arrived!!
