New Shark Pool

two things. i couldnt find anyone selling the mangroves. what you see in the pool is chaeto and caluerpa. the other thing..... was that "amazing" genuine or sarcastic???? either way, thanks for reading and posting i appreciate everyones comments, good or bad. i wish everyone who viewed gave a post, maybe some constructive criticism or feedback.

Can you find an acrylic aquarium on craigslist to serve as the refugium for the flora? Would look a lot less ghetto.
 
And plumb it into the filtration? Or drill holes in it and place it in the center. Because I think an acrylic cylinder drilled with hundreds of holes, full of plants would look cool in the middle of the pool. Like a Little garden. Maybe put a powerhead inside it to ensure that theres flow. It also helps hold up the cover.
 
Yeah - that's what I was thinking - just replace the ghetto baskets. Same concept, just clear acrylic would look a lot cleaner, for minimal cost.
 
Anyone know if nitrogenous waste evaporates along with water? Or is it like salt, where it accumulates in the body of water?
