New Silver Arowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Tank size won't be an issue for awhile. There are many other concerns with baby aros, such as tank mates, feeding etc. Is you tank top completely sealed?

I am worried about feedig too... Just paranoid that he wont eat anything I try. Top is completely sealed and his tankmates are just a crayfish and pleco, they won't be a problem, will they? Because I will take either or both of them out if I need to.

At that size your best first food is going to be freeze dried bloodworms (not frozen, seem many mistakenly think frozen). I personally wouldn't recommend any type tank mate until it is at least 5-6" baby arowana are easily bullied and can be overwhelmed by most any other tankmate. Once it is 10-11" this the time to be mixing with logical tankmates.

Really fail to see why the price is an issue here:screwy: There are many considerations, the main being regional market, that have to do with the price.

Thanks for all the info!

Gratz on ur pick up and ou got average deal on ur aro,
Feed them bloodworm freeze dried is better because it will float, I would put some kinda molly fish or guppies as tank mate on that size especially if it has problem with eating..small aro tends to like competion when feeding.
Ur 75G tank is more than enough for now if all goes well expect ur aro to grow 1 1/2-2 inch a month.
