don't tempt me! ok, maybe just a little bit :D

I'll try to take some new pics to post up this weekend. He/she looks a little bigger every day. And he/she's gotten big enough to eat normal size feeder comets now, although I'm going to stick with the platies and rosies.
 
nice, I may look into needlenose gars soon.
 
Question. Everyone says Florida and spotted gars look the same right? Ummm my Florida looks nothing like that. I'm just wondering why people say they look the same, compared to this pic I can easily tell mines a Florida then.

you're likely comparing the juvenile spotted here with the usual adult Floridas you see in stores...those fish do look quite different from each other. however, if you look at spotted and Floridas at the same stages, they ostensibly look very similar to each other--

PS-- will keep you all posted, more gars will be available soon, and they are a decent amount bigger than they were when the first group was available--
