So then I guess a large African butterfly fish. I’m just wondering if sparky would eat a small butterflyfish.
In total, with tax and everything, how much will the mokele cost for it and to ship
I would suggest 3 bichirs in total minimum. 2 bichirs alone will have aggression. Made the mistake of keeping ornate with a delhezi with no other bichirs, the delhezi constantly got injured and it’s fins torn.
maybe consider gettinga Senegal and a moke, with an African butterfly as a top dweller.
Depends on the level of filtration and water change rate you have.
I have an Aqua clear 75 and a biochemical sponge filter/air stone. I want to get plants later, and my normal water change is weekly 50-70%. I can easily step it up to every 5 days or every 4 or something like that
How much media does an aqua clear hold? My filter holds about 1500-2000g of media and it handles the bioload of 5 bichirs and a few other fish just fine ( no detectable ammonia) but you might need to increase your water changes.
If you can’t keep up water changes just stick to 3 bichirs, if you can then add in a butterflyfish
