As Nic said, dont do goldfish, all they do is introduce parasites and then u screw yourself over some more. Best way now is, go to your backyard, and dig up some worms. If you dont like the cold, then go the the baitshop and get yourself some worms. Chop em up and toss em in. Remember to get the prazipro too.

here in america unless you live flat out in the middle of untouch wilderness its prob not a wise idea to go and dig up your own earthworms.... fertilizers pesticides etc... not wise just my .02

Whoops, im not in america, so listen to Nic.

I agree, get off goldfish. My husband and I just lost our flower ray from what we think was due to goldfish for our peacock bass! Good luck and keep us posted. Our rays love earthworms.

he is skinny? he is feeding on small gold fish rightnow what do you think?

I'm a visual learner. So, I thought I'd post a picture that I took just a few minutes ago of our Retic, Thaddeus. He only eats black worms (and from time to time ghost shrimp). And his ass looks like that before eating, lol.

Listen to these guys. They've been doing this a long time. This is no joke, and you need to take this seriously:

GET THE PLECO OUT OF THERE.

Ditch the goldfish.
Be at your LFS' doorstep right when they open.
Grab black worms.
Feed him as much as he will eat in five minutes.
As soon as the food is gone, repeat.

Owning stingrays is a huge responsibility. Do your research (i.e. what they eat, their species, etc.) before buying your next stingray. ;)

And around these parts, a pound of black worms runs you $20. I'm not sure about Chicago.

Oh, and what size tank are you working with there?

lol, but you guys have all the drag strips and race tracks. Id rather pay for nightcrawlers and pay less to get into race tracks, it costs a fortune here since we hardly have any...it costs so much we're usually stuck drifting in parking lots...

Booty-licious.

i know lots of people having luck with pleco in with rays... i say keep a eye on it.. there is no need to remove it yet if it is not harming the ray... also i would ditch that gravel...
