New Sunfish (id?)

Hmm, the body shape looks a lot like the first one, but that doesn't have the same full body neon blue coloration as mine. It has alternating almost colors of red and neon blue. The second one has close to the same colors, with the red in the fins. Oh yea, thank you to everyone who is helping.

Don't try to identify it based on color.There is to much variation with colors based on things like location, age, stress level etc. It's better to use physical features. The sunfish you're catching is the only Lepomis sunfish with that body shape. Also look at the mouth, greens have a much larger mouth then pumpkinseeds. Compair the gill cover on your fish with that in the picture, it's exactly the same as the green's. Your fish is is a green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus).
