next week when i get home PLUMBING and lighting, that will be fun, last time i sprung a leak eek was a long night trying to bodge it so it lasted till morning

Got home sick (well tank sick), so back home early from london this week
Todays progress: Got the Spraying all finished, added an extra coat to ensure there are no thin bits
Pics were getting a bit many so i reduced the size of them
Then mounted the smaller tank

Ok serious Question if anybody is still reading and not just looking at pics:
Sealing the tank connecors:
I have baught a 5mm Rubber sheet to use, cut to size and screw in tight as a washer, or
do you recon i should add a layer of silicone over/under the rubber before screwing so it seals the hole and the connectors
Worth the extra effort or not?

do you plan on ever taking it apart? If not-silicone it.I would use at least some silicone regardless

you could use silicone or silicone grease if you plan on taking it apart at some point. the grease works as a lubricant to the rubber and pvc and ensures they seal properly to each other. its not a sealant itself just makes the other stuff seal easier

Ok thanks, not going to bother with silicone, the rubber should do the trick

Getting electrics and pipes ready, just might have water flowing tonight!!

looks good . you going to leave the bottom part open or are you going to cover it with something ?

I have the old sheet of wood that covered it before, but i may leave it open, bed covers it, thats a minor issue for another day

lets wait for plumbing issues first
