New Tank & Baby Green Terror!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great looking fish. I would say at least a 75 gallon for permanent home. I've had males hit about 12". If a female a 55 gallon would work.

That’s the plan when they get a bit larger! Going with at least a 55 and moving it to the basement. The GT I got in March as a baby. He’s grown a good bit finally! The Syno I got in April I think but he had a little more size to him from the store! Syno was so shy up until recently. Now he dances for food along with the GT when I walk up to feed them.

Well, it lasted for a while. Then I got hooked on a “serious” tank lol! But thank you! She loves it still!
My daughter wanted to decorate one of my tanks a few years back, so I got her a nano for her room to decorate however she wants lol she’s not touching mine

More pics! They beg for food together lol! The GT definitely grows slower but has put on some size. The Feather Fin is huge and plump! Think I’ve decided on a 75 towards the end of the year!

My water is CRYSTAL clear though now!

Trying to darken things up, clean things up, and go as natural as possible. I really love the natural look, color, and size of the PFS, so I completely changed the décor using a lot more rocks from my backyard! Also got rid of sponge filter as I am already immensely over-filtered. I'll add an airstone for when we go out of town though to be safe. Ordered a black Fluval heater as well which should look better!
