Nice I used eopxy on steal frame in my build as well pond shield Is a great product I’ll have to try that primer mixed with ps with the next thing I try with pvc sheet finding ways to bond it was the hardest part of using it but every thing works on pond shield
Thanks....I'm stoked it's starting to resemble a tank now. Just need to keep my excitement under control to avoid making a mistake with the silicone and bracing.
Bored waiting for silicone to dry, I also took a few shots of the fish in my current tank just before feeding time.
How much flow do you have going over your overflow box you made out of PVC?
I have my stand cut out for am overflow in the same spot as you and going to do a Bean Animal drain out of 1.5" PVC. Hoping to get around 3k GPH of flow. The syphon will go to the sump/filter ect and the partial drain will drain into a 40g refugium that drains to the sumps pump chamber.
I still need to figure out how I'm going to set up and plumb a 1500gph closed loop system.
I have four 1.5 pipes in the back and I’m runing a 4200 gallon/ houers with one pump 1300 with a second pump the second runs my uv Sterilizer
The four pipes are set up as Durso’s
But really the two Stand pipes take most all the flow the sump is a 125 and the tank is 605 gallons
What style of Sump are u trying to set up I’m runing a fluidized bed
Like the pics had a banded cat shark my self but my tank now is for freshwater rays

For the sump, I'm setting up a 120g wide, (4x2x2) holding my skimmer, three 7" filter socks, 5 gal bucket load of Seachem Matrix, live rock rubble, UV Sterilizer Pump, and going through a Reeflow Super Dart for return. Would have went with the Hamerhead pump, but cant beat the watts on these pumps. And really, my skimmer is only a ASM G4+. Need an upgrade, but skimmers are way overpriced for what they are.
Closed loop has a Reeflow Dart/Snapper Hybrid.
I have a 40g breeder tank that I am going to have full of sand and tons of macro algae. Will have it overflow into the sump by two 1.5" drains.

All that is left is the to silicone the cross bracing. I have a couple extra pieces that I might silicone to the sides and then to one of the center braces. (Seen in the second pic.)
