I have multiple tanks on the go. Both the growout tanks are bare bottom, community tank has gravel, my sw tank has sand, and my main 120 has peastone river rocks. But after everyones input I think im going to try pool filter sand. It doesnt cost too much and if I change my mind down the road I can always take out the sand.
