So the LFS I work at (for only 2 more weeks!) just upgraded their terrarium display, so the old one was up for grabs. For only $20, I'm the proud owner of an ancient 55-gallon thats divided in the middle. I plan on making one side an aquarium and the other side, I'm not sure. Probably a naturalistic vivarium of some sort with maybe a frog or something.

Anyway, I can't keep it in the house so I think I may set it up in my dad's shed, which thankfully, has electricity. I'll keep ya'll updated with the progress. I'm so excited!

Well, I have everything else for an aquarium already (filter, gravel, etc)...just been waiting for a tank, and there's some baby P. polleni at the LFS that I've had my eye on. So its certain that one half is gonna have fish.

The other half...not a big fan of amphibians in general**, but the lid on the tank is old and not conducive for any reptiles I want, so I figured maybe a pacman or pyxie frog (i.e. not something that's gonna escape a 18" high tank). I have been itching to set-up another planted terrarium, so whatever goes in the other half will be tropical.

**I know I did say "frog" in my OP, but I meant to specify pacman frog there.

Black Diamond cichlids are awesome looking. A fish store near me had some the other week. I wish I had a tank for them.

I know...they're so beautiful. I knew I wanted one the moment I laid eyes on an adult female 2 years ago. And these babies are absolutely gorgeous, too!
