Hes not much into amphibians

get some amphibians,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol, actualy just sayin a late happy b day to you ophi, good luck deciding on the set up,its a constant battle for me,lol.

2 feet is definately not enough room for P.Polleni man. Thats prety much a 20g high, with some inches to the top.

And Im sure with a little effort, you could make the top herp-proof. Maybe put a baby colubrid in there.

Sounds awesome, I would go all terrarium, how about some pics??

I'll only raise the polleni until it gets too large, then I'll give it away.

Plecos...the common ones are too ugly and, well, "common" and the fancier ones are more than I care to spend at the time.
Angelfish....boring, everyone has 'em. If not the cichlid, probably some black phantom tetras.

Don't feel like dealing with dart frogs. I want something hardy.

I dunno....I really like those polleni!

If you haven't noticed, I really like the weird and obscure stuff. Africans are pretty, but nearly everyone I know who does fish has them. Their appeal is lost to me now. I feel the same way about neon tetras, oscars, cornsnakes, ball pythons, leopard geckos and bearded dragons. ["But Ophi, you have a ball python!" you say. Well, I've had him for 15 yrs and he was my first snake ever. Will I get another BP when hes gone? Very unlikely.]

But I do appreciate the suggestions, everyone. Hope no one thinks I'm just being an ogre and shooting you all down. I just had pretty much made up my mind beforehand what fish I was gonna get.
