Well ive had this tank up and runnkng fof some weeks now and im more then happy. So i figured why not post and video of it.

It aint that hard to DIY a tank. Its just the matter of logical thinking and trusting your own knowledge

i tried asking for a quote before.... just the glass will set me back $2-3k.... and not a good choice for my first DIY to be such a huge project... lol
overall i was quoted $6k+ to have it made.... reckon i will only save $1-2k.. which i feel, it may be better off getting a professional to do it...

Dang that much for the glass? Im in the planning stage of 12000L tank atm. Got quoted 7200sek for two panels thats 260x80cm in 12mm tempered glass thats roughly 750usd on the glass. The pondliner is another 350usd then about 400usd for the wood
yes... glass are quite expensive here. Pondliner i think cheaper as i can get from china. wood should be cheap

Yeah i wanna go bigger but 600x250x85cm is quite large? im thinking about building the tank higher but that will run away on the price of the glass. I think its possible to build 90cm high with 12mm glass but its on the edge of what the glass can handle.
