Eventually yes. I have a very dominant 6lb male dovii or Guapote in there who has a couple of females that he makes the rounds with. He spends all day chasing the other males protecting his territory. He has a couple of schools of babies already. I want the peacock bass to be able to defend themselves in there.
Here are more pictures of my other Ocellaris. Do you all still think that they are Ocellaris, even without the red eyes? I finally got them off of feeders and they've been eating chopped up beef and chicken liver, heart, and gizzard.

nice tuggerd i belive those are farmies (hybrids) or regular monos i say put at least two monos and a tem in ur big pond to see how they do first cause that dovi might beat the hell out of them
I would say yes they have a real simular head shape of jose"s and also from the pic it looks like a little red starting on the edges? but im no expert on identification.
i would say farmies as well,mono/ocell mixes.
i would convert them to shrimp and smelt meat instead of what you feed them now.

I tried everything in the fish market until they finally started eating the liver.
Why farm breed? What exactly is a farm breed peacock bass? Aren't they wild Peacock's breed on a farm?
