New Temensis

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have two aerators going. The ich seems to be getting worse. I'm down to seven. Two in one tank and 5 in the other. I just did a water change today. I'm super nervous that these tems are so delicate. They don't seem to eat anything but little fish and blood worms. At least they're eating.

I'm down to 5 now. 4 in one tank and 1 in the other. This is so frustrating. I couldn't be taking better care if them if I tried.

In one of the aquariums, yes. The one with meds has a tem in it with serious ich on the dorsal fin. The others don't seem to have any. They all seem to be eating well. I'm leaving about 15 little feeders in there just in case they're hungry. I assume a full stomach will help keep their defenses up.

Stop using the meds. Keep temp high and a lot of air and aqua salt 1tbs to 5gal of water.

Thank's, I'll try that. Are Tems usually pretty active or do they hide most of the time? These seem to hide all day and then all of a sudden they all decide to go hunting and they come out in the open for about 15 minutes.

I have three left and they seem to be pretty strong. They're no longer hiding. I left 15 smaller feeder fish in the tank for the weekend and they're all gone. Theses guys can really eat. Is the bottom fish the same breed as the other two? It seems like his eyes are much larger and his coloration is a little different. Stronger vertical stripes and the others have more horizontal. Then again I thought he could just be the dominant male. He seems to nip at the others.
