New Tig..PICS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
here is a pic of him..... he's about 6 3/4". Sorry for the out of focus pic. There isn't enough light in this tank to use the close up feature on our camera (which automatically kills the flash).

So what is the difference? I was just wondering. That is what they had labled at the pet store.

the one you have grows to 3ft+ the real tigrinus grows to just over 2ft

the one you have cost $60 the real tigrinus costs $200+

the one you have are fairly easy to find the real tigrinus are fairly rare

not much diffrence in care and they are both nice fish but the one you have will always be fairly dark were as the real tigrinus has a real nice blue color to it

like this when it gets bigger

Thanks for the info. So i shouldnt be disappionted on what i have then. Imstill pretty happy with it. We dont see those very often either. But thanks though.

nothing to be disapointed about tigrinus and jurencse are both nice fish in their own rights just the one you have gets a bit bigger at 3ft+

the one you have is a bit easyer to take care of than the tigrinus the tigrinus can just die for no reason even some real good fishkeepers lose them for no reason
