New tire track eel

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
does it matter what kind of fish or not? and can i just buy shrimp in bulk like at walmart? also my eclipse catfish arent eating the best, they pick up flakes occasionally but when i bought them they had big fat bellies. What can i feed them? the lfs said they fed them blood worms so i bought some they just dont really seem to interested. if i had to guess the eel is in the 6-7 inch mark if i had to guess

Nice! I used to have a TT Eel but he was always hiding so I didn't see him much. The tank looks great, even with all that tannin, just be sure you have a secure lid, I learned that lesson the hard way.

Good luck,
Paul

A black background would do great on that tank. :) The decor is awesome - even with the tannins. That big piece of wood is superb!

the water is far clearer now, What i am thinking of for a background is a thin piece of wood painted should work i would think. And the piece of wood is from lake pleasant we got hassled by the park ranger for taking it because its state property but they let us have it. It was a pain trying to weave the roots around the top braces

Can you please post a better picture of it?

Also, you are weighing it down with rocks, right?

As in regards to the background, a sheet of plywood painted black stuck (or fixed in whatever way) to the back of the tank would do the trick nicely. :)

yea let me go take a pic real quick

Thank you very much for the pictures :) They are beautiful! And your tank is just great! Once the black background is there, it would be simply awesome! :)

Yea unfortunately wont have the background for awhile as i am unfortunately living in cali just coming back every couple weeks. But maybe in a month or so, will either be black or dark blue. hopefully the plants will be grown out more by then
