New to Arowana

Hey guys I've not long had my 4inch silver Arowana he's grown bout half a inch maybe bit more in jst less then a week is this normal, wen did bit of research but half the time u don't know wot to belive how soon will I need a new tank his in a 3.5 foot tank at moment.
 
If you only bought him a week ago I wouldn't worry about him not eating. It could be 5-6 weeks before he starts eating. So long as your tank is the right size & your filters & water is good he will start eating eventually when he feels settled in. also try feeding him at night after the lights have gone out. that worked for my new Arowana

DE is not fatal, nor is it caused by feeding live foods.
