I knew it was an Arowana, I have a 100g, upgrading to a 200g in summer. Kind of an ID thread/info. New to arowanas. Try not to assume. I know they jump, I know they're picky. Most are illegal. Don't assume next time please.

Problem is there are many who don't know. If no one assumes then these are the fish that end up stuck in a 55g or dried up on the floor.

BTW a 200g will be outgrown by a silver aro, whoops there I go assuming again :duh:

arowanas actually arnt that picky. its just the dither ones like lei and africans that tend to start out picky. its also just the asian arowana that is illegal.

Bderick67 is annoyed at the fact that you needed some help id-ing the fish after you bought it. which leads people think you haven't read up on the requirements of the fish yet, and in this case, a definite MONSTER fish.

feed it well, keep your water clean, and save your money for that 200 gallon you're upgrading too.
