I don't recommend feeding it too much crickets, as most Aros get addicted and don't eat other food. I would suggest you feeding crickets as treat, like once a week.

50 bucks seem a bit high for a silver arowana but at least i can get a baby black arowana for 50 bucks here in New York for a better quality

I just picked 1 up same size for 40 and had 2 go buy a bigger tank for him! LOL. I think as there scales get bigger there color comes out. I'm planning on buying the 2.2 lb of Hikari food sticks online for $40 thru Amazon with free shipping. The 8.8 oz bag is $28 at LFS
