New to feeding big fish. A little advice please?

I bet he spelled "water" with the intention of spelling "wafer" as in algae wafer. Do you have any driftwood in the tank?

3 giant pieces (still grappling with fighting the yellow, but it's doing a great job keeping the pH down, and it's the pleco's favorite place to hide.) Why?
