As everyone has said feeders are a bad way to go. An oscar or Red Devil is a very personality loaded fish that will be fun to watch without the disease infested feeders being used. Try insects such as crickets and mealworms but give it a good staple pellet.

yea red devils and oscars r fish with personality! ive had red devils before and they are awsome! but one thing i dont like about red devils is dat you have to keep them alone or you have to find a fish that can defend itself from the red devil.its okay if you keep it with a pleco. ohh and if you like a nice decorated tank it might not happen with red devils because they like moving rocks (which i think its fun watching them do it). my red devil killed my 4 inch tropical gar and my JD.

75gal Oscar Tank....Sadly if your looking for some "Blood Thristy" Cheap fish it well, doesn't really exist Exodons as mentioned come in at about $10 or more a piece and you need at least 12....12X10=$120.
As the forementioned Oscar $6, at Petsmart/Petco/Big Als or you LFS should have some cheap ones or even a longfin...etc
