  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would go with schooling fish any other cichlids might not be welcome once they get bigger.

Whatever fish you put with him now you're prolly going to have to remove later. So make your pick. He is still small green terrors typically don't grow too fast.

1. 1/2 inch a month. Maybe a bit faster. Dot expect it to grow like an Oscar though.
2. Good varied diet, clean water.
3. Bgk get super huge. Not a suitable tankmate IMO anyways.

ok thanks what about adding a mate?

A jack would be ur best bet cause both will be similar in size when adults. A firemouth would possibly work too but they tend to be more passive once the 2 get bigger. Jd and the gt is my vote. I kept both in a 75g awhile back and both did well until 6"ish and I moved th into a bigger tank and they thrived.

Will my gt be ok
He jumped out this morning
Yesterday I added quick cure for his fin
Anyway ever since he jumped he looks traumatized he won't get out of his cave and when I turn on the light he skittish??
Also I'm currently feeding him
•omega one freeze dried brine shrimp cubes
•omega one cichlids small pellets
•bloodworms
•hikari gold medium

Wats the best food schedule and quantity of food per feeding
I want to avoid messy water and leftover food everywhere
Thanks guys
