Hey Newtolb........... welcome brother! Hey, if you want to deal with a LFS try Strictly Fish in Lakewood, off the 605 fwy and Carson...... decent prices but when they have one of their "Sales", you get the tanks at cost (acrylic) otherwise glass tanks are fairly inexpensive also. If you're looking for something larger, I'll be selling a 125 glass tank for a reasonable price and I'm the next city over from you. I also have a 25 gallon uniquarium (built in wet-dry filter). PM me if you want to check it out.
