Those things get huge, don't they? The reason the person I got my 100 gallon from was selling the tank is because he had two of those and needed a bigger tank...

They are very cool. Very peaceful(unless you can fit in its mouth) and active. I think they will get around 20" in aquariums.

Yeah the only problem is finding smaller ones, I can find ones that are 10" or so but none smaller

true gar are illegal in ca as well... nice lil silver arrow... he will need a much bigger tank in the future. nice to see younger keepers around.
