Why does the Flowerhorn fall under Hybrid?
I do agree that high-quality FH's have absolutely stunning colors!

IT'S GOT PINK. I LOVE PINK. Seriously, some day I'm going to get a tank and paint the background HOT FREAKING PINK, and get a bunch of black and blue fish to put in it. Would be a dream come true. :headbang2

I'm not a flower horn guy, but, I think it's because the trimac was crossed bred with....let's say a red devil, thus equaling a hybrid. I don't know squat about flower horns. Cross breeding with a cross bred, crossed with a texas....I don't know.

Black and blue fish in a "hot frinken pink" tank huh.....

Oh yes. I love pink, and blue, and PURPLE. oh my god yes, purple with grey is amazing.

I personally love central American vieja spiecies, and flowerhorn wich are mixes of these fish
My favorite is breidohri, check out aquamojo s site his breidohri is amazing just as colorful as a flowerhorn but pure bred bliss velvet purple and maroon red beast, imo close runner up is belize synspilum and melanurus

Aquamojo is boss hog when showing colors in pure cichlid. Every time he post I look for pictures as preferences.
 
Meh hybird or not they are around shouldn't judge things just because they are a mix, we dont judge people who are black/asain for example, if you hate it just because its a hybrid kinda sad... its happened its there people might as well aspect them and take care of them or stop putting them down just because they are cross imho.

Thats a can o worms, ... I love hybrids and have many but some people are die hard against them.
