Yeah that would be fine. pups would be fine in a 125 if its clean and smaler rays like retic and hystrix would be fine in a 125 for a wile. but once they hit adulthood it would be alittle cramped. but thats what im going to do once my pups get bigger, make a indoor pond. also looked at tose plexyglass breeding tanks fish farms have.

payaras are awesome too! but your going to have to do your home work for them for sure tho.

*cough *cough Flowerhorn :P What about Dovi? Or Jaguar Cichlids? :D

11 p.m., time to switch into nocturnal mode and get back on MFK ;)
Looks like someone^ is a big fan of flowerhorns! Not my thing, their heads scare me! But they're super aggressive!

Dovii grows to large for a 125.... plus some dovii aren't even that aggressive else breeding you do get some placid ones, I am yet to find a placid flowerhorn.

A male jag would work but I dont find them aggressive at all, even my breeding pair wont bang the glass etc like a horn only reaction I get is if I stick my finger in the tank above the babies. Not to say Jags are not amazing but if you are after a really crazy/angry fish cant pass a flowerhorn for a 125.

Yes ma'am I am. Many people may rage... but not one glass banger fish, matches the looks of a high quality flowerhorn... and yeah the head is not the best part, however, you can get ones with medium heads, and amazing colors... but the biggest criticism to flowerhorn keepers, is the fish falls under hybrid....

But my first fish was a flowerhorn...and the characteristics was amazing... had him for a year and half...got him to like 25cm...sadly he passed away due to water contamination 2 months ago :(
