New To Rays

ive had trouble keeping my semaprocolodus (flagtail) with my rays. they were okay together for a while. then the flagtail had the taste for mucus and kept sucking at my rays. . . hmm wouldnt be at all suyprised thats why your rays are retreating and acting nervy. . . keep an eyre out for the flagtail. the rest of your fish list are totally fine with rays.

Yea he was one that I was worried about he like to nip on allot of stuff drift wood and plants, but iv never seen him nip on any other fish but you never know,will keep an eye on him.

also flagtails and distodocodus sexfasiatus are incompatable. . . sooner or later the d.sex is going to bully your flagtail. ive kept them together a few times and so have my freinds and flagtail got ripped to shreds. suprised yours arent at it at that size.

Nothing real bad at all they seem to stay on opposite sides of the tank, the only one who shows any aggression is the flag tail. But in anything does happen i got places for them.

as you know 1st hand that flagtails love sucking. best to pay close attention. them fish love sucking mucus and rays are like flies to **** when it comes to that. im sure its the flagtails. sooner or later irt will stress them out. i had a magnificent 14'' flagtail and had to give it to a mate cos of that reason. their very persistant at sucking what they like yhe taste of.

i kept my sex with my flagtail and when they both hit the 5-6'' mark they fought all day and all night. one off the worse fish feuds ive ever witnessed, was quite incredible!

i didn't know flagtails liked rays...looks like i will have to get a nother tank for a future fish...

no i can't say i have seen that, but i have seen one suck....well i can't finish that statement on here without getting banned for life.... trust me it was harder
