I was thinking having both Cherry and Ghost shrimp in same tank... will that work?

Also what would be the best size tank for 20 to 40 shrimp?

One more... I have a seller willing to sell cherry shrimp with me it comes with java moss in each bag with each shrimp... would it be good to put the java moss in the tank with I heard the cherries perfer that and the moss is very easy to keep.

Any other suggestions or ideas would be great.
Ghosts are very predatory in nature, and don't do well with caridina species.

well, don't start worrying about over population from breeding, shrimp are very cannibalistic and that should keep the population cap, and if you're still paranoid, get a betta, they Looooooooooove fry.

I hope that helps :)
Most caridina species are algae eaters primarily, and are not cannibalistic in any way.

Very bad statement. The vast majority of plants kept in aquariums cannot just be kept in any old tank. More than 75%, of aquatic plants, cannot survive in low light settings, like most tanks keep. Several plants must have pressurized co2 in order to continue to survive. Many are intolerant to salt, or copper.

Maybe you shouldn't speak about topics you don't know. Your information was 100% wrong. A member would be better off going to Petco and asking for help. This site is about furthering the hobby. All you have done in this thread is hinder the hobby.
