You should have got smaller fish then....If you can not house them it is not our fault...We are doing the best we can here...The largest fish I would ever ever put in a ten is 4-5" TOPS! Take them back and get a betta......Or some danios.....

you just got some angry spizz in your ear!

i am going to house them just not in a 125g thats insane i will just have to do it my way i guess thanks for nothing but a head ach guys be a little nicer i know i need a bigger tank but 125g is a strech for the size they r now so what if i buy 5 tanks thats my problem and since i do plexi for work i was going to bild my own anyways i just wanted an idea not a guilt trip

Youre setting yourself up for a real dissapointment in regaurds to fishkeeping. In my humble opinion you will enjoy fish alot more if they live and i feel you will be hard pressed to keep those two alive and happy in a 10gal plus your JD and oscar may not get along forever

well they do right now and i put them together tis young for a reason so they would get use to being with eachother and i'm probly going to build a 75 or a 90g tank in the next month

You are correct. I am not trying to be mean, just super serious, so you do not end up like all the guys on Craig's list getting your sales linked to our lounge.....A 55 will do for the three for maybe a half year. It is not so much about the gallons as the footprint. With daily water changes you could put 1 single Oscar in a 40 breeder for life....And the same for the other cichlid you mentioned....The pleco is going to need a huge huge tank though at the end of all of this. Good luck with whatever you do and keep your fishes best wishes in your fist thoughts always and you will be just fine :)

all i wanted to know is do i want a wide short tank or a tall one i can figure outthe rest and i had a pleco for a year and a half befor and e never grew bigger than the tank would let him so im not to worried about him and i have had fish befor just not these two so i know about the tank sizes

Wider is always better than taller with large fish...A 40 breeder is 36" long and 18" wide ......55 is 48" long and 12.5 inches wide....125 is 72" long and 18" wide......See why the 40 Breeder is better than the 55? You are not very appreciative I can tell you that much.....Learn how to take advise and then say thank you for it...especially when it is free.....
