If you have ammonia readings I personally would do 30% in the morning and 30% in the evening water changes. The cloudiness in the water is probably a bacterial bloom caused by the newly cycling tank. Don't worry about that and don't add anything to try and clear it. Just keep doing the water changes untill you have seen the ammonia dissapear, then the nitrite readings rise then fall. Until you get nitrate readings that are higher in the tank than your tapwater then you know the tank is cycled. This will take about two months till you have a stable filter. Good luck and welcome to ray keeping.
