New Trimac Flowerhorn`56kwarning

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I like the strong Trimac genes this FH shows!!!
The fin are nice & full too.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a full Trimac, I see no signs of any Parrot.
As long as he please you, that's all that matters.
I bet he'll color up in a few days.
FH color changes drastically when they're stressed or have just moved.

Keep us posted.

Thanks, I really thought the same thing when I first saw him. He is Trimac dominant that is for sure.

Update: Day 2, colors are a tiny bit darker, he is eating like a machine, and really settling in nicely. So far he has been worth the purchase. Interesting to note, the only person he seems to not like so far is my girlfriend....

He is one handsome dude!

Maybe he's trying to tell you something...:WHOA: :naughty:

I hope you don't have all those loaches mixed together red tail botia will outgrow/kill the other loaches. Skunk and clowns are pretty weak compared to modesta.

I have 4 clowns, 1 yoyo and 1 red tail botia in my 125. Been together for a while and no problems? They are all pretty large, 4 to 6 inches except 2 clowns under 3. Bought the rtb and yoyo solo from lfs. trade ins I believe? 2 skunks in a different tank. Been pretty lucky with most my fish getting along, though used to have 3 skunks? lol

he looks like he has an underbite  lmao awesome fish though
I kind of noticed that too. Its very minor compared to a GT male I had. You can expect defects with hybrids so I'm not upset with a small underbite because that's about the only defect this gorgeous fish has.
