yeah this little guy is a PIGGY! I just got him in yesterday and literally right out of the box from delivery he ate a whole bloodworm cube, half of a shrimp, and then took out a guppy all within 15 mins of me being on my lunch break haha. Did you catch your guy yourself?

Actually my wife did. My buddy and i were up the stream looking for some minnows and crayfish and my said she see's a baby turtle. I didnt even make it back before she caught it. lol. She wont pick up a crayfish but will pick up a baby snapper. lol. But thats why i love her.

He was burrowed in some leaves. I got a really good spot for native collecting. Huge variety of fish and crays. Its a few hundred feet of solid rock, that the water has carved out pits all through it. leaves collect in some of the pits on the edge. He was in one of those hunting the crayfish. Ill have to try collecting some of them to get him to eat.

That's what I miss about living back east, there is NOTHING out here for the most part worth looking for lol. Has you little guy eaten anything yet? It sounds not so good, but a good starter just to get them eating I have found is hotdogs, lol I use the turkey dogs myself though. Not a staple, but it will get them going.

Yeah I have a tiny guppy that is living with him right now. He is just not quite quick enough to grab him, stalks him very well though!

Te4ll me about it, I live in Colorado now and I have never seen a Turtle in the Wild here, sucks compared to Louisiana where I had both Turtles and Alligators in my backyard LOL.

Ok, i just took a piece of shrimp and stuck it on a sharpened chopstick and wiggled it in front of him. He grabbed it and is currently devoring it. So cute for such an evil turtle.
