New unexpected eggs

If you have a air pump, you could use that as well to supply more oxygen into the water. You can also place the airstone inside a large sponge to create larger surface movement. Plus the sponge will filter some of the water at the same time. That's only if it will be awhile before you replace the filter.

I live in Houston Texas, but I am going to go get some sponge filters tomorrow or online today. I just bumped it and it went out. I tested the water and I still have 0s across the board because of the plants, but I’m not sure if I can feed the fish and keep it that way, as so far I am only feeding them lightly once a day

The fry were swimming around sort of:irked: and some how the parents keep attaching them to this piece of wood I have soaking in there??

Sorry kinda forgot about this thread. I culled about 4 and a lot got eaten by the pleco so I have a total of ten right now. The parents are on their forth batch, but every time they start the next one and release them the first batch eats them all. It gives them a pretty good growth spurt and I don’t have to cull thousands (though I guess I’m culling through neglect?) they are not as I expected them to be at 3 monthish, but the parents have beautiful finnage. With an inch long streamers on the fins for the bull

Congrats! Good luck. The crayfish should take care of any slow or weak fry (maybe some not so slow or weak fry) so it's a nice culling system you'll have there to make sure only the strong make it. what is your plan with all the babies you'll be up to your neck in soon?
