New Widebars.... good price --- Seattle, WA

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm gonna say its a miss I'd and its a indo if anything a 3 bar indo...

Too many people here think everything related to rare oddball type fish center around this website.

There are tons of LFS, wholesalers, hobbyist, ect that deal with "our" type of fish and you will never hear about them cause they arent on MFK or the "other" sites. In other words, because you havnt seen it happen to some one on MFK doesnt mean it cant happen.

Saying that, Im 99% sure they arent pulchers but hey....llike unkownzua said, stranger things have happened.

The fact that they are not being imported into the country right now is one thing, and the ones that are in the country are bigger than 4" at the moment. the smallest of which i believe was mine ( now pulchers ) who is about 5". I'm not 100% lets just say 99%

There's no way to be certain a couple aren't slipping in. Lots of fish "slip in". Take parroon sharks for instance, they're not supposed to be coming in either..

thats true, but they still wouldnt be comming in at that size, maybe next spring or in a couple months we will be getting some in, but still doubt it.

if they were true wide bars i can almost be certain that the wholesaler that sold the store the wide bars should know that they are wide bars and would not have sold it that cheap. even if the wholesalers messed up on pricing, the LFS that sold you the wide bars at that price is crazy and i wouldve jumped on them also. but the chances of you having a steal with these wide bars are VERY slim. wholesalers know the fish industry pretty well

i work for a lfs... i can be almost certain that there is no possible way you have wide bars. ive ben searching for smaller wide bars to bring in to the store and its hard. many will ship asian aros, but none can get their hands on wide bars... this is coming from other countries and not local wholesalers.

bring those indos back and take you money elsewhere. false information and hella expensive livestock.

IME working in the pet fish industry is that most wholesalers and most LFS stores dont know jack about oddball type fish so the mistake is possible though not likely.
