Bro Zeke,

After reading your post I think you deserve a reply from me. I am not doubting the integrity of anyone here.

I just based my judjement on the fish as it present it presents itself...

Hope you can understand where I am coming from...

It's funny you guys would question Wes reputation... The guy is the biggest fish freak I've met, he knows his stuff. Congratulation that's gonna be a sick fish!!!!! Keep us posted.

All everyone here can do is wait a year now, and see what it's gonna turn into as an adult. IMO, it's not going to look like an everyday old silver arowana. I see it turning into a yellow colored fish . If I had to bet, I'd say Wes has been digging for more information about these fish and will post some more information about it soon. I trust his information about the fish and where it came from, without any doubts at all.

That fish you show is very interesting.....I think that is a very young fish..... do a red asian aro look red at such a young age? Aro needs to develop over time......I want to see adult not one a bit older that maybe similar......plus his eye not black

Bro fong, I understand completely that you just want everyone to know that you think that this fish is not as special or rare as we believe that it might be. I would really like to see it turning an awesome yellow colored adult. I too have kept arowana for over 30 years and I personally think and believe that we have something special here. Only time will tell. Those last pictures posted of it are alot better than the first ones. It's already absolutely beautiful. I'd love to get one myself, but I don't even know the price of the fish.

Bro Fong, the problem with your statements is that you keep saying that you have 30 years of arowana keeping experience, first you thought this was axanthic, and it was common, but failed to provide any pictures of juveniles or adults of axanthic ones.

then now you change your mind, and think the above fish is what we have, what's not ok is that you claim that these fish are cheap and common. Well, we don't go and look into your tank and say that all the albino fish you have are cheap and common, farm raised fish right?

Here is my reply: thanks for all those that support me in the past and present. The fish I got are wild fish from Peru, they pick out of thousands to get a few, they obviously look different. They also pick out other random mutations, as they know it will fetch them good money.

As for how these will turn out when they get big, honestly, I do not even know, like I've been saying, this is new to the hobby. So its interesting to see how they progress, they could turn more white, or more yellow. I've seen several examples of solid yellow ones in the past, which are pretty nice in my opinion. If worse comes to worse and they don't turn out to what we've imagined that it would then so be it. Fish keeping is always a risk. Just like buying a baby chilli red aro, you just don't know for sure what it will turn out to be at a young age, now its easier with all the captive bred fish since you know the parents.

I'm currently being offered some platinum black aro, also pink eyed albino silver from the wild also...or should I just forget about them since they're just another common aro?

I don't know anyone therefore no reason to go against anyone here.

I simply discuss about the fish.. That's it. People said its new and rare and I said its not. I seen it before.. And I support my claims with photo.

No need to wait 1 year. 3 months can see the true color already.

Wes .. No One gonna blame you even if it turns out not to their expectation.
It's a live stock..no One can guarantee anything. I can see you have lots of supporters. People like you man. I like u too. Please do not take It personally as I am purely and objectively taking about the fish..

Axanthic fish.. Like albino..Their color can varies from from fishes to fishes.

This fish the axanthism not too extreme
The gill plate showing normal silverish color already. Not a very good sign .

Anyway I could be wrong. Will see results in 3 Months time.

Here in singapore albino alot.. Got pink eyes.. Grape eyes.. Etc.. Body also also different colors.. Full yellowish.. Silverish snow etc.

Bring in black arowana.. They tend to be more Matt than silver If they are whitE.

The albinos silver are dirt cheap now in Singapore. That's why I advise ppl not to buy axanthic.

This piece not worth buying. It will look like a normal silver as it matures. ..even if only 1 piece in this world.. What's the point if this piece is going to look the millions of those normal silver right?

The problem is you keep coming on here saying you know it's a cheap common arro. But you don't know for sure- you just now finally said it yourself. We can appreciate your opinion but to claim you know exactly what it is going to be when not even the supplier knows is going to muster up arguments from everyone and you got it. Even if it turns out different it looks way better then your Snow in my opinion
