I think this whole thread is just an affirmation that no one really knows how it will turn out. Either way, the investment is for the journey to see. Even if it's not a stunner, you cant put a price on the satisfaction of curiousity. If it is, you're one in a million. High risk high reward with excitement along the way. Seems legit.

Hope no one walks away from this sore. You guys are friends--both with interesting minds and both taking part in the most interesting hobby on earth. Its good to find the truth when it is there to be found, but I hate seeing people upset over it.

Godspeed~*

Oh, and uh... let's see some more pics, eh?

again to prove my point, and you just reaffirmed it, the fish that I got are wild from Peru.

Frank: The fish came from Peru, they do not buy fish from other countries then re-sell them, they can barely keep electricity going in Iquitos, they're not at that level of sophistication yet. They cannot even export fish when it rains too much. I don't know where you get the idea that its possible that they get fish from breeders of this fish and re-export them. Its not logistically possible, these fish are harvested from wild adults, with their heads cut off and babies taken while they still have the yolk sac.

Points well taken Wes. Thank you. I suppose it was an ass-pull on my end..... been reading Bleach alot recently....

Bro, that's the worst pic I have ever seen- doesn't even look real. Looks like a dead stuffed arro. Surely with all the xanthic fish you say are out there you can come up with a living specimen

I immediately thought of a mounted fish also. Looks like it has been made "fat/too thick" to fit it all under the skin. As far as the claim of the next picture being a "AAA" quality fish....although it is a truly unique and beautiful arowana, the only problem I have with it is the set of 2 "whiskers/cirr" on the tip of the lower jaw are too large for the fish, IMO. Therefore, I believe that it should only deserve a "AA" rating at best. More than likely it's a genetic mutation that probably affected every single fish in the group that were hatched in captivity. What a shame on an otherwise perfect fish. They broke the mold on that fish. Lol

Have you seen a dead stuff aro before or not? I have seen and they don't look like that.

I told you I have seen a axanthic silver aro before.. A couple of them in a white fibre tank.. I was looking down at them from top.. They have translucent scale with light purplish inner core scale. .. Quite unlike the pics i posted. The place I saw it was at the now closed down DJ aquarium in Singapore. I am not here to sell any products... I dont need to prove anything.. Maybe I have seen the wrong thing.. But that was what I thought they were then.. Axanthic aro..

For those who wants to buy these.. By all means.. Go buy.. But I am 100 percent sure these axanthic traits are reproducible and they come in bAtches..and they will be like another albino silver thingy..
