I always consider you need 1 gallon for the max size of an adult, an well cared for oscar will reach about 15", to me a 6ft 150 gal would be minimum.
Above I meant you need 1 gallon for each inch of adult, and when it comes to large fish, add the height and width to ascertain proper tank size.
A 10" inch trio of oscars 3" witde and 6" tall, probably would need minimum 180 to 200 gallons.
